COMMUNITY GUIDELINES \u2014 EDINSTA<\/strong>

These Community Guidelines apply to all individuals who access or use Edinsta. They apply to posts, comments, messages, group activity, uploaded files, external links, profile content, usernames, bios, and all participation across the Platform. Violations may result in content removal, warnings, feature restrictions, rate limits, shadowbans, account suspension, permanent bans, IP\/device blocking, or reporting to law enforcement. Edinsta may take enforcement action at its sole discretion without obligation to notify or explain.<\/p>\n

Respect, Safety, and Civil Behaviour
Users must interact respectfully and safely. Harassment, intimidation, abuse, personal attacks, coordinated harassment, dogpiling, stalking, doxxing, defamation, blackmail, threats of violence, or malicious targeting of any individual or group are prohibited. Attempts to cause emotional distress, coordinated reporting, brigading communities, tracking users across groups, or encouraging others to harass are strictly forbidden.<\/p>\n

Hate Speech and Protected Groups
Users may not promote hate, violence, exclusion, segregation, or discrimination against any protected group based on race, ethnicity, caste, religion, nationality, immigration status, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or disease. Slurs, demeaning caricatures, coded language, extremist references, hate symbols, and content that dehumanises protected groups are prohibited.<\/p>\n

Violence, Self-Harm, and Dangerous Acts
No user may post or encourage acts of violence, physical harm, self-harm, suicide, dangerous challenges, or violence against others. Graphic injury content, depictions of abuse, sexual violence, or threats to commit violence are prohibited. Users may not request or share instructions for self-harm, warfare, weapons use, explosive construction, or harmful physical stunts.<\/p>\n

Child Safety
Any content involving minors in sexualised, abusive, exploitative, or harmful contexts is strictly prohibited. Sharing minors\u2019 personal data, student IDs, school documents, exam papers, photographs, or any identifying information is banned. Violations will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to authorities.<\/p>\n

Illegal Activities
Users may not participate in, encourage, promote, or facilitate illegal activities such as hacking, exploitation, pirated content distribution, academic fraud, exam leaks, impersonation, narcotics, weapons, sale of regulated items, financial scams, identity theft, or document forgery. Content that instructs users how to bypass systems, crack software, or access private materials is prohibited.<\/p>\n

Intellectual Property and Copyright
Users may not share copyrighted textbooks, paid course materials, proprietary institutional content, private PDFs, scanned books, restricted documents, or any content they do not own or have permission to share. Uploading or linking to pirated files or subscription-only materials is prohibited. Violators may be permanently banned.<\/p>\n

Misinformation and Harmful Content
Users may not share false or misleading academic, medical, financial, scientific, or institutional information. Fake certificates, manipulated documents, altered screenshots, fabricated results, hoaxes, conspiracy theories, and fraudulent academic claims are prohibited.<\/p>\n

Spam, Ads, and Unauthorised Promotions
Advertising, affiliate links, referrals, multi-level marketing, paid coaching promotions, service solicitation, direct messages for business, automated mass messaging, and external monetization are not permitted unless explicitly authorized by Edinsta.<\/p>\n

Privacy Violations
Users may not share personal information of themselves or others, including phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, bank information, government IDs, work documents, passwords, internal policies, transcripts, or private screenshots. Leaking confidential academic or workplace materials is strictly prohibited.<\/p>\n

External Links and File Safety
Users who post external links, documents, or files are fully responsible for ensuring their safety, legality, and compliance with copyright laws. Edinsta does not verify or moderate external content and is not responsible for malware, viruses, phishing pages, copyrighted materials, or any harm caused by external links.<\/p>\n

Group and Topic Relevance
Users must post content that is relevant to the group\u2019s academic focus, subject, course, or topic. Off-topic discussions, spam memes, unrelated personal content, or non-educational debates are prohibited unless specifically allowed.<\/p>\n

Prohibited User Behaviour
Users may not troll, bait, manipulate votes or rankings, mass-report others, evade bans through alternate accounts, artificially amplify content, impersonate institutions, or interfere with group moderation. Creating multiple accounts to influence discussions or engage in deceptive behaviour is prohibited.<\/p>\n

Moderation
Edinsta moderators and staff may remove content, restrict access, lock discussions, and take enforcement action at any time. Users must comply with moderator instructions. Failure to cooperate may result in penalties.<\/p>\n

Appeals
Edinsta may or may not offer appeals. Moderation decisions may be final, and Edinsta has no obligation to review or reverse decisions.<\/p>\n

Use of Edinsta indicates full acceptance of these Community Guidelines.<\/p>\n

MODERATOR CODE OF ETHICS (INTERNAL POLICY)<\/p>\n

All moderators must adhere to the following expectations. Violation may result in immediate removal of moderator privileges, account penalties, or administrative review.<\/p>\n

Impartiality
Moderators must enforce rules fairly and consistently. Personal beliefs, relationships, disputes, biases, or agendas must not influence moderation actions. Moderators must not engage in selective enforcement or ignore violations by acquaintances.<\/p>\n

Confidentiality
Moderators must keep all internal discussions, reports, user complaints, logs, escalations, and decision-making processes confidential. Screenshots or disclosures of internal operations are strictly prohibited.<\/p>\n

No Abuse of Power
Moderators may not use their powers to intimidate users, silence criticism, punish users unfairly, or promote their own channels, products, or services. No moderator may promote themselves or gain any personal advantage from their role.<\/p>\n

Professional Conduct
Moderators must remain respectful, calm, and objective, even when engaging with difficult users. Moderators must not argue publicly with users, retaliate emotionally, or engage in negative behaviour.<\/p>\n

User Safety Priority
Moderator actions must prioritise user safety. Harmful, dangerous, exploitative, or abusive content must be removed promptly. Reports involving minors, threats, or self-harm require immediate attention.<\/p>\n

No Conflict of Interest
Moderators must avoid moderating groups where personal conflicts exist. Conflicts must be disclosed. Moderators may not remove content or punish users due to personal grudges.<\/p>\n

Accuracy and Integrity
Moderators may not manipulate content visibility, artificially boost posts, hide legitimate posts, or influence rankings. Tools, permissions, or backend access may not be shared with others.<\/p>\n

Accountability
Moderators must maintain accurate logs of actions (if required) and cooperate with Edinsta staff. Edinsta may override any decision and intervene whenever necessary.<\/p>\n

Removal from Position
Edinsta may remove moderators with or without explanation. Moderators serve at the discretion of the platform.<\/p>\n

USER CONDUCT POLICY<\/p>\n

This User Conduct Policy outlines behaviours prohibited across Edinsta. Violations may result in suspension, removal of privileges, permanent bans, or legal escalation.<\/p>\n

Users must not impersonate educators, institutions, public figures, Edinsta staff, or other users.
Users must not engage in harassment, bullying, discrimination, hate speech, or stalking.
Users must not create multiple accounts to manipulate engagement, evade bans, or distort discussions.
Users must not generate or distribute false, misleading, or fraudulent academic or professional information.
Users must not upload explicit, offensive, violent, hateful, illegal, or prohibited material.
Users must not misuse the reporting system to target individuals unfairly.
Users must not derail discussions, disrupt group operations, or engage in non-relevant content injection.
Users must not scrape, harvest, export, clone, or extract platform data manually or using automated tools.
Users must not attempt to reverse engineer, duplicate, simulate, or technically interfere with Edinsta features, algorithms, rankings, or systems.
Users must not use bots, automation, scripts, macros, crawlers, or external software to access Edinsta.
Users must follow moderator and administrator instructions without delay.
Users must ensure that all shared or uploaded content complies with copyright, IP, and licensing laws.
Users who violate may lose access to posting, commenting, messaging, groups, or the entire platform.<\/p>\n

DMCA \/ COPYRIGHT TAKEDOWN POLICY \u2014 EDINSTA<\/p>\n

Edinsta respects intellectual property law and complies with copyright protection requirements. Users are responsible for ensuring all content they post is authorised and legal.<\/p>\n

Reporting Copyright Violations
Rights holders may submit copyright complaints containing the following information:
Full legal name.
Email address and contact information.
A clear description of the copyrighted work.
Exact URLs of infringing content on Edinsta.
A statement declaring a good-faith belief that the material is used without permission.
A statement affirming that the information submitted is accurate.
A physical or electronic signature.<\/p>\n

Submit notices to: support@edinsta.com<\/a><\/p>\n

Edinsta\u2019s Response
Upon receiving a valid takedown notice, Edinsta may:
Remove or disable access to the infringing material.
Notify the user responsible.
Record the violation internally.
Suspend or permanently remove repeat infringers.
Share the notice or user information with authorities if legally required.<\/p>\n

Counter-Notices
Users who believe a takedown is incorrect may submit a counter-notice containing legal justification and acknowledgement of responsibility. Edinsta may choose whether or not to restore content. Edinsta has no obligation to reinstate removed content.<\/p>\n

Repeat Infringers
Users repeatedly violating copyright may be permanently banned and may lose all content and data associated with their accounts.<\/p>\n

No Liability
Edinsta is not responsible for user-uploaded content and is not liable for copyright infringement committed by users. Users acknowledge full responsibility for all materials they upload or share.<\/p>\n

Prohibited Materials
Educational PDFs, proprietary course materials, paid notes, premium videos, scanned books, institutional documents, and any copyrighted content shared without explicit permission are strictly prohibited and will be removed on detection or report.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
